Just us Girls!!

Well..tonight Josh went to the UT basketball game with his boss...so, it was just me, Hallie and Gracie!! It stormed here tonight, so it was the perfect night to max and relax on the couch. Here are the dogs watching me while I emptied out the dishwasher and made my gourmet dinner (grilled cheese, chips, and pickles...yum yum!!) It is so cute to me how what one does the other does!!
When we feed them I put their bowls in two seperate spots...but they end up swaping bowls, and Gracie will sneek into Hallie's bowl when she walks away (hallie is a walker when she eats, she takes a bite then walks away) and that is when Gracie moves in...Hallie really does not care, she just goes to Gracie's bowl. This of course makes a big mess on the kitchen floor..as you can see all the little pieces scattered along the kitchen floor.
Gracie is giving Hallie a kiss to tell her how much she loves having another dog around...I got this while I was eating dinner...Gracie has not begged for human food since we have had her!! GO GRACIE!!

Doggie Daycare Day!!

Ok....this picture is funny, because I took the above picture first, and then the second after I snapped the camera she did this........how funny!!

Well...today since I went out with my new BFF (as Josh would say it) today, I felt guilty leaving the dogs at home all day...especially since I did not know how long we would be.....so I took both dogs to my mom's for doggy daycare...aka playdate!! Good thing I did we had so much fun at the mall that we were there from about 10-5pm :) Gracie did great with the other dogs and was on her best behavior..and made great new friends.....I forgot to take my camera and get pictures at my mom's, but these next two of her where when we first got home....looks like she had fun!!

Ok...well Gracie went for a run out of the house tonight, so in order to make sure she came home, we left the front porch light on, and put notes on the front door, so she knew which house was hers!!!!!

The long trip away made someone hungry.....
and tired........

As you can see...day 2 has been another great day...Gracie did Great again today...and Hallie well..she is just being Hallie...They are so cute together!! We just love having 2 little dogs always following us around!!

House/Dog Sitting Day 1

We have been given the honor of house sitting for my in-laws...which with the house comes their precious Ms. Gracie Lynn!! As many know, Ms. Gracie Lynn is quite the "puppy", so we are in for a real treat!! We are going to update our blog daily so her parents are able to see how much fun she is having without them. (She does however miss them!!)

So, what does Hallie do while Gracie is being nosy...well laying on her favorite bed from Grandma and Pappy Girbert ...of course!! Our dog is not as adventurous as Ms. Gracie...and yes that is my christmas tree up in the picture (all my decorations are out already..more pics to follow)
Day One Report Card:
Ms Gracie slept well last night..she cuddled mostly with Tonya. She woke up about 9:30...with no tinkles in the bed!! Then we went outside..which of course she came back in the house and went potty on her potty pad....YEAH for Gracie!! We ate breakfast then Josh and I went to church...what the girls did we are not for sure.......

She did have a little accident while we were at church, but since we have been home...no ACCIDENTS!! YEAH again for Gracie!!
Gracie and Hallie are playing nice together and just follow Josh and I around everywhere. She is not barking..thank goodness...and overall she has had a GREAT day one..and hopes her parents are having a great trip!! We will see how she does tomorrow since they will be home during the day alone??!! Good Night...Love to all..Josh, Tonya, Hallie and Gracie

I know I am so late in doing this....but better late than never!! Happy Belated Birthday to our wonderful nephew Eli, niece Ashley and Sister-in-law Leah!! Hope everyone had a great birthday and we can't wait to see everyone soon :)
